IPad 3 in UK

Apple makes 'iPad 3' available in Britain from 16 March at £399 to £659-The new iPad device will be available in the UK from 16th March at £399 to £659 ($499-$829 in the U.S.) after Apple last night priced the so-called 'iPad 3' at the same range as it launched the iPad 2 a year ago.

Apple has also reduced the price of ipad 2 from £399 to  £329 for a 16GB, Wi-Fi only version -making it more affordable and  cheaper than any previous model.

Apple CEO Tim Cook also left the door open for 'a lot more' innovation in the next year - possibly a reference to the new iPhone 5 widely expected to launch later in  October this year.
